The renewal of our SOC 2 Type II certification confirms our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of data security and privacy.

The SOC 2 Type II (System and Organization Controls 2 Type II) is a widely recognized framework for assessing and reporting on the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of a service organization's systems and processes.  

The extent of the following five key principles is checked:

• Security: protection of the system against unauthorized access, both physical and logical
• Availability: availability of system for operation and use as agreed upon or needed
• Processing Integrity: System processing is complete, accurate, timely, and authorized.

• Confidentiality: Information designated as confidential is protected as agreed upon.
• Privacy: Personal information is collected, used, retained, disclosed, and disposed of in conformity with the privacy principles.

The "Type II" part of SOC 2 indicates that the assessment covers a specific time period (usually six to twelve months). This differs from SOC 2 Type I, which only assesses the design of controls at a specific point in time. an independent auditor conducts the assessment and attests to the effectiveness of the controls in place. The auditor examines the policies, procedures, and practices of the service organization and may perform tests to ensure that the controls are operating as intended. This makes sure that the measures put in place are not only designed effectively but also operate effectively over time.
